How to Stop Fearing and Start Doing?

It may sound a bit confusing but:
**Fear (read it resistance) is the driving force behind any action.**

Everything has a resistance and greater the resistance, greater the results.

Imagine doing something which doesn’t require any effort. It won’t even buy your attention.

* Conquering Mount Everest is  a huge target in itself. That’s what makes it courageous to achieve it. Had it been an easier task not many would have even tried it.

* Working for a startup involves a lot lot of courage(and some foolishness too :P), that’s why it fascinates too many people to leave their day job and work for it. Even when the success rate is so low still people go for it as it takes some courage.

* If I tell you my story, I always had a fascination for travelling. But also, it involves a lot of risk as you have to face unprecedented conditions. So finally one day I packed my backpack, put 3–4 items of usage, searched 3–4 places and just moved. And, once I had done it now all it takes for me to travel is just some time.
So, if you’ve got fear for something, its fine. But not pursuing something just because of fear is not fine!

Now, certainly you need to overcome it. Here comes **Motivation** in picture. Everyday, you need at least one thing to motivate you.
You just need to take the first step.

Now, lets discuss **Why we don’t do something** even when it seems important:
Whenever we take up something, we do it for a day for two but then we stop it because:

* We get demotivated easily as we don’t see any immediate results.

* We don’t find it necessary to do it.(its an important one). We don’t do something, until its not really important to us. As per Newton’s first law: “An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.”

Now, **How can we make sure that we don’t stop doing it:**

* For pursuing anything, we need an environment. That environment pushes us automatically towards the aim. We just need to find that environment. For example, if you’ve ever boarded into a train with lots of crowd, you just need to stand in the crowd and that crowd itself pushes you inside.

* Always talk to someone that can check your efforts periodically. That guy will push you whenever you get loose.

* Always keep a check on for how many days you must do something in order to see the result. If you stop before that just remember that you’re not done yet.

* If you fail the last time, just make sure you don’t get the same reason to stop you this time.

* Take baby steps. Make small goals. Once you’re done with those increase the steps gradually. There’ll be a time you’ll start enjoying it.

* Attach something interesting with the task that you take up. Remember how we used to play the entire day when we were kid but now we can’t work even for 2–3 hrs regularly. For ex: Having your favourite food once in a week if you do gym daily.

So what're you waiting for!
